Episode #76: Inspiring leaders for the new world that is emerging with Angela Nesbitt

Inspiring leaders for the new world that is emerging with Angela Nesbitt

Our guest on the podcast this week is Angela Nesbitt, an executive coach, facilitator and mentor for leaders who want to increase their  social impact while running profitable businesses. She helps clients create much needed clarity, navigate uncertainty and create powerful partnerships to leverage their impact. She speaks with a rare passion about her unique approach to inspired leadership that is supporting leaders through these uncertain times of change and complexity, helping them to focus on what is most meaningful and continue to evolve and redefine their definitions of success. In her spare time she is passionate about sailing, tango and gardening.

Today we’re going to be talking about one of Angela’s greatest passions and that is inspiring leaders for the new world that is emerging, which is of course, so important in today’s uncertain world.

Angela shares not just from a theoretical perspective but from her own real-life wisdom after working with leaders for most of her career. She has noticed how what is most important often lies beneath the surface of our awareness, just like an iceberg, it is our unexamined habits, attitudes, beliefs and expectations that are running the show. She asks “How can we each build the capacity to navigate uncertainty?”

Listen is as we talk through how leadership is changing and responding to the new world currently emerging, how to inspire people to greater heights and build trust in ways that create less friction in the system. Angela speaks from a deep well of wisdom as she describes our multiple intelligences, about the triple bottom line and how business leaders can heal our broken world.

If you are struggling with uncertainty, or struggling to define your role as a leader or simply a human, in this post-lockdown world  then I encourage you to listen to this deeply resonant dialogue for insights. I think you’ll enjoy Angela's perspective on what needs to happen for us all to stay inspired despite the uncertainties and complexities of today’s world. I suspect you’ll enjoy this conversation as much as I did.
